He then attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine to obtain his Doctor of Medicine where he had the honor of graduating Valedictorian of his class. After medical school, Dr. Ding returned to Dallas where he completed an internship in General Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center before concluding his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Ding is also a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has lectured nationally on topics related to craniofacial reconstruction and management of head and neck pathology. He has also a served on medical and dental mission trips, caring for patients needing cleft lip and palate repair, post traumatic injuries and other needs. Dr. Ding practices a complete scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with particular interest in corrective jaw surgery and dental rehabilitation utilizing dental implants.
