He then attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine to obtain his Doctor of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Knell returned to Dallas where he completed an internship in Preliminary Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center before concluding his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Knell has lectured nationally and regionally on topics concerning craniofacial implants, oral pathology, and maxillofacial trauma. While he practices the complete scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Knell’s emphasis is on bone grafting, dental implantology, oral pathology, and orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Knell was born in Springs, South Africa and raised in Plano, Texas. In his spare time, Dr. Knell enjoys traveling, running, and cycling with the hope of one day completing an Ironman.
